Order
ORDER: The Registrar is directed to maintain the current Interim Order Conditions of Practice on the registration of Mr John Durrand.
- You must confine your professional practice as a Paramedic solely to being employed by the Scottish Ambulance Service within the Clinical Hub Team.
- You must place yourself and remain under the indirect supervision of a workplace supervisor registered with the HCPC and supply details of your supervisor to the HCPC within 14 days of any change of supervisor.
- You must attend upon your workplace supervisor as required and follow their advice and recommendations, in particular in respect of any recommended Occupational Health referral. You should meet with your workplace supervisor at least once every month to discuss your health and progress within the Clinical Hub Team.
- You must provide the HCPC with a report from your workplace supervisor before the next review. The report should detail your health and progress within the Clinical Hub Team.
- You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you cease to be employed by your current employer.
- You must inform the HCPC within seven days of becoming aware of:
A. any patient safety incident you are involved in;
B. any investigation started against you; and
C. any disciplinary proceedings taken against you. - You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:
A. Scottish Ambulance Service;
B. Any organisation through which you are undertaking professional training;
C. any healthcare professional involved with your current treatment;
D. the occupational health provider for Scottish Ambulance Service.
Notes
This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 06 April 2025 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
