ORDER: The Interim Conditions of Practice Order made on 12 July 2024 and later varied on review, is confirmed.

The conditions are:

1.    When carrying out your profession as a Paramedic you must not undertake any driving duties.

2.    You must inform the HCPC within 7 days if you take up or leave any other employment, or undertake any other work, for which your HCPC registration is required, and provide the HCPC of details of any such employment.

3.    You must inform the HCPC within 7 days of becoming aware of:

a.    any patient safety incident you are involved in;

b.    any investigation started against you;

c.    any disciplinary proceedings taken against you.

4.    You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:

a.    any prospective employer for work for which your HCPC registration is required (at the time of your application);

b.    any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with to undertake work for which your HCPC registration is required (at the time of application);

c.    any organisation through which you are undertaking professional training.

This Order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 13 August 2026 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
