The Registrar is directed to annotate the HCPC Register to show that, for a period of 12 months from today’s date, you, Gloria Masango, must comply with the following interim conditions of practice:

1. Before undertaking work as an Operating Department Practitioner, you must:

A. satisfactorily complete all training required of you since January 2020; and

B. forward evidence of completion of that training and a copy of the results to the HCPC.

2. By 28 February 2022, you must write a reflective piece in relation to these allegations and provide a copy of that reflection to the HCPC. Your reflection should demonstrate an understanding of both the importance of undertaking required professional training and of honesty and integrity, and the impact upon your patients, your colleagues, your employers, and your profession if you do not undertake such training or act with honesty and integrity.

3. You must promptly inform the HCPC if you cease to be employed by your current employer or take up any other or further employment.

4. You must promptly inform the HCPC of any disciplinary proceedings taken against you by your employer.

5. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:

A. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;

B. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with (at the time of application); and

C. any prospective employer (at the time of your application).

This Interim Order will be reviewed by 12 May 2022.
