The Interim Conditions of Practice Order imposed on 12 November 2021
and varied on 12 May 2022 and 12 August 2022 is confirmed. You must
comply with the following Interim Conditions of Practice:

1) Before you undertake work as an Operating Department Practitioner,
you must, with regard to every employer and/or agency providing you
with work:
a) establish the mandatory training required of you by your
employer/ agency;
b) provide the HCPC with a document outlining your employer/
agency’s mandatory training requirement;
c) complete that training and keep it up-to-date;
d) provide the HCPC with certificated evidence of completion of that
training.

2) Every six months provide the HCPC with updated documentary
evidence specified in 1b) and 1)d.

3) You must promptly inform the HCPC if you cease to be employed by
your current employer or take up any other or further employment.

4) You must promptly inform the HCPC of any disciplinary proceedings
taken against you by your employer.

5) You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject
to these conditions and provide them with a copy of these Conditions:
a) any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to
undertake professional work;
b) any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with
(at the time of application); and
c) any prospective employer (at the time of your application).

This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 12 August 2023 or
earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after
it was made.
